Here is one of the most amazing wallpaper pack for all S60v5 Lovers who couldn’t own Nokia N8. This wallpaper pack will take your S60v5 Homescreen to the next level of S^3 and make your Shortcuts look transparent as in S^3.
The Pack includes PHOTOSHOP PSDs which are perfectly blended with 6 different layers signifying 6 different widgets.
It just needs a simple and very less knowledge of Photoshop or handling layers. Trust me, its as easy as eating a chocolate pudding kept infront of you ;)
PLEASE USE ONLY WITH NOKIA THEME ORANGE or DARK (Transparent Version)
Here are some instructions to generate your own HOMESCREEN wallpaper:
1. Extract the package
2. Choose PSD according to the theme applied (Nokia theme Orange or Dark) & open it in Adobe Photoshop (Recommended) or this freeware GIMP
– You can use any other Layer handling software if you have.
3. I am giving you instructions as per Adobe Photoshop. Now that you have opened the PSD..Check at Right Bottom of the screen, the Layers Window.
4. Layers window will have 6 different layers marked from 1-6 which are your widgets. Just click on the EYE beside the layer you want to de-select.
5. Now that you have selected background just for your custom homescreen, its time to save the file. Go to FILE>Save As… And select .PNG (V.Imp. JPG doesn’t Support this) and save your file.
6. Transfer this file into your Phone and set as wallpaper. :)
Notes:
a) This looks like a lenghty process but isn’t as you use the same widgets on the homescreen with different themes. So its a 1-TIME task :)
b) These PSDs may support other themes with transparent widgets too but they are best blended according to Nokia Theme Orange & Dark (Transparent Versions)
c) There is still NO Support for Potrait & Landscape both. So if anybody has a way to do that with PSDs contact me.
